As we only supply the highest quality products, we consider the Bix Ceramic Gas Burner and Tank, manufactured by our friends at Forest Classics, to be the best available for your MSS and old Mamod locos.

Measuring 1.5cm x 5cm, the silver soldered Ceramic Burner has a special radiant element that creates an even and consistent high temperature. The silver soldered Gas Tank, which takes either Butane or a 30% Propane/Butane mix, measures 4.5cm x 2.8cm and stands 7.8cm high with the valve. Comes with copper pipe and connections, a Gas Refill Adaptor for gas refill canisters, and full instructions with diagram.

This burner always gives a good constant heat and performance. For any enthusiast who wants to get the best performance out of their mss/mamod. I get the gas from b&q for a 631ml coast me around £4.60
