We have a limited number of the back issues of Garden Rail Magazine that have featured the articles written by Dream Steam proprietor, Alan Dunster, to mark the 30th anniversary of the original Mamod and current MSS loco design.

Part 1 appeared in the January 09 issue (173) covering design and development, and the companies behind the loco. Part 2 appeared in the May 09 issue (177) covering the range of models and spin-offs over the years. Part 3 in the October 09 issue (182) looks at acquiring your loco, whilst the current Part 4 in the November 09 issue (183) takes you through running and maintenance you loco. The final Part 5 in June 10 issue (190) looks at modifying and upgrading your loco.
